Braces...
Remember all those nights driving all the way to Winchester to visit the orthodontist? You and I with Dad driving, fighting route 3 traffic to get home... and Dad singing "Elvira". Week after week after week, and just when we reach the promised land - Retainers - the orthodontist has a stroke. Still have nights when I wake up in a cold sweat with those lyrics in my head - Giddy Up Oom Poppa Omm Poppa Mow MowGiddy Up Oom Poppa Omm Poppa Mow MowHeigh-ho Silver, away
How do you get past something like that?
How do you get past something like that?
Happy Birthday Jill!
Happy Birthday Jill!! My how time flies! I still remember you playing on the other side of the fence in Billerica when Maureen and I were punished for visiting Grammy. While you probably don't remember it as clearly, I can assure you that Maureen was responsible for the entire incident!
Happy Birthday from John
Hi Jill -
I remember our time in Carlisle and was thinking about your graduation from Concord-Carlise. A big day and who knew where you were headed. I didn't and, I guess, neither did you. Along came Zachary and moving back to Carlisle.
It was a wonderful time to have the two of you with us. It gave us a special bond with Zach - the "Z" Trail, trips through the park, the beavers and, of course, our bridge. I remember the opening ceremony and Mike carrying the American flag.
Also parties by the pool, dinners on the porch, and you always at my left side. We had dogs everywhere. Courtney nipping your friend and Zoe and Noelle escaping to the woods.
After some time in a wandering pattern you settled into Bay Bank and robbery. What a way to get noticed! But not usually recommended.
We are very proud of you and your accomplishments. You've survived mergers and come out ahead. And proud of how you and Mike have merged families. Look how far you have come in so few years. The road ahead is full of good things for you.
Happy Birthday and lots of love,
John/Pops
