Hard to believe it has been 40 years since we welcomed you into the world. It was a hot summer day and we thought for sure you would wait to be a Fourth of July baby (of course we would have to wait another 31 years for Emily to take that honor,) but you were independent, even then, so you decided June 20th would be the day. Of course, you had the good grace to come along at 3:00 PM to make it into "Mum's" shift at Choate Memorial Hospital. We all wondered if you had really been born at 2:59 and perhaps she talked them into waiting a minute or two to be on the right shift :) Fast Forward 40 years and here you are managing a big job, four wonderful kids and a busy life. LOL....I think Mum most definately had something to do with it ;)
Look at that sweet newborn hospital shot....they don't make them like that anymore.....and I never did get one of those....hmph ;)
